STimulated Emission Depletion (STED) Microscopy 

MLMC In Focus: STimulated Emission Depletion (STED) Microscopy is taking place in Montreal
from July 22-26, 2024.

 

Venue:
Advanced BioImaging Facility (ABIF)
McGill University, Montreal, Quebec, Canada.


A maximum of 24 spots are available.
Applications will be processed on a first-come first-serve basis.


Application deadline: Sunday, April 14, 2024 (11:59pm ET).
You will be notified of acceptance or rejection within two weeks.
Once accepted, you will be required to register on a separate Registration Form.
Upon receipt of invoice, payment will be due by credit card no later than May 5, 2024 to secure and confirm your participation.

 

Course fee:
Academic rate: $995 CAD plus applicable taxes.

Corporate rate: $2,200 CAD plus applicable taxes.
 

The fee includes
Morning lectures, afternoon hands-on workshops, course manual, registration package, keynote lecture, reception and poster session, lunches, coffee breaks, a course dinner, and optional social activities.

The fee does not include:

Optional Friday dinner and river cruise. Additional cost is $150 CAD plus applicable taxes.

  • Fluorescent Dyes and Proteins for STED 

  • Sample Preparation

  • Multi-Colour Applications

  • Calibration and Image Acquisition Settings 

  • Optimizing Settings for 2D versus 3D STED 

  • Time-gated and Pulsed STED 

  • Fluorescence Lifetime Imaging Microscopy (FLIM) combined STED

  • Live STED Imaging 

  • Image Analysis – phasor analysis, 3D morphology, timelapse

  • Build your scientific STED community through many networking events
